Semi-submersible industrial pumps

Belgorod Hydromechanical Plant (BGMZ) is a Russian manufacturer of vertical screw pumps of the SP—V series. The equipment is designed for the oil and gas, chemical, food, mining, pulp and paper industries, as well as metallurgy and sewage treatment plants.

The SP-V series pumps are used for pumping a wide range of media.:

• viscous and highly viscous liquids;
• chemically active media;
• multiphase and gas-containing mixtures;
• abrasive substances;
• media with and without solid inclusions.

Due to their vertical layout, pumps are indispensable for pumping media from various tanks, reservoirs, cisterns, underground lakes and wells, as well as for solving non-standard tasks, including eliminating technological spills. The versatility of the design allows the equipment to be used in a wide variety of industries.

Versatility of the design

The pumping units of the SP series combine the best qualities of other types of pumping equipment:

• Valveless design — the absence of suction and pressure valves increases reliability and simplifies maintenance.
• Performance stability — the number of rotations of the rotor is proportional to the supply at constant pressure.
• Reversibility — the ability to change the flow direction (when equipped with a special gear motor, in agreement with the customer).
• Self—priming – suction height up to 8 meters.
• Work with complex media — pumping of heterogeneous, gaseous and abrasive liquids.
• Fibrous inclusions — effective work with substances containing strong fibrous components.
• High viscosity is the pumping of media that are not capable of independent flow.
• Dosing — the possibility of using it as a dosing equipment.
• Gentle pumping — no foaming of the product.
• Flexibility of installation — operability at various angles of inclination.
