Transportation and pumping

Pumps of the SP-H (horizontal) and SP-V (vertical) series are used for pumping crude oil from storage facilities to tank trucks, railway tanks and ships. The equipment effectively works with media with a viscosity of up to 5 million MPa·s, a mechanical impurity content of up to 60% and a temperature of up to 120 °C.

At the stage of raw material preparation, pumps are used to supply paper pulp and dispense auxiliary substances such as kaolin, resins, and dyes.

Single-screw pumping units of the SP-H series are designed for pumping food media with a wide temperature range and varying degrees of viscosity.:

Pumping products with inclusions

If you are faced with the task of pumping sauce with pieces of garlic or yogurt with whole berries, and it is necessary to preserve the integrity of these inclusions, the optimal solution will be food pumps SP-H. The equipment is capable of pumping liquids with soft inclusions from 6 to 74 mm in size and solid particles from 3 to 50 mm without changing their structure.

Working with non-fluid media

Some food media are not capable of independent flow under normal conditions. For their transportation, heating and temperature maintenance are required throughout the route. BGMZ screw pumps are equipped with gerotor pairs capable of operating at temperatures up to +150 ° C, and are equipped with additional heating of the screw pair and the working chamber, which allows to maintain the fluidity of the product during pumping.

Pumping of viscous media with inclusions

If the technological process requires the preservation of the properties of the medium, but the product has a high viscosity and contains solid inclusions (for example, minced fish with small bones), the SP-H pumps are equipped with a screw feeder. The feeder is designed for additional crushing and forced pushing of the viscous medium to the working chamber. Stators made of natural rubber BR/NR, resistant to wear, are used to work with abrasive inclusions.

Environmental

Wastewater treatment is one of the main issues for any manufacturing enterprise. This is due to stricter environmental legislation and increased fines for untreated wastewater emissions.

To solve these problems, industrial wastewater treatment plants are used, which include single-screw pumping units of the SP-H (horizontal) and SP-V (vertical) series. The cleaning complex includes four main stages, each of which uses BSMZ equipment.

Stages of wastewater treatment

The mechanical stage

The medium prepared for cleaning is supplied by a slurry or sapropel pump to grates, sand traps and septic tanks. The maximum gap width of the filter devices usually does not exceed 16 mm. The SP series screw pumps are capable of pumping liquid with soft inclusions up to 74 mm and solid fractions up to 50 mm, which guarantees uninterrupted supply even in case of large contamination.

The biological stage

With the help of SP-H or SP-V pumps, the medium enters primary settling tanks, aerotanks or metatanks, where wastewater mineralization and removal of organic nitrogen and phosphorus take place. The primary settling tanks are followed by a line of radial settling tanks, where screw pumps are used to pump activated sludge and sediment.

Physico-chemical stage

At this stage, mechanical dewatering of the sludge is carried out using flocculants, coagulants and other reagents. Chemical pumps made of stainless steel with NBR (nitrile), EPDM or FKM (Viton) stator elastomers are used to dose and supply these substances, depending on the aggressiveness of the medium.

Disinfection of wastewater

The final stage is disinfection of the purified liquid with a solution of chlorine or hypochlorite. The screw pumps of the SP series in chemical design effectively cope with this task.

Non-standard solutions
